Sky Lines
For the last 3 years, I've gathered star trails and city footage of my home city of Nashville. It's an attempt to contrast the bustling city life with the slow and ponderous star movement while embracing their coexistence.
No special effects were used - all star trails are real.

Shot over the course of 3 years, Sky Lines is my biggest passion project to date. I loved combining the light pollution of the city with the purity of star light.
Most astrophotographers get as far away from the city as they can, trying to eliminate light pollution as much as possible. This project embraces the glow and haze of the city lights as they juxtapose against the constellations.
